The City of Burlington is trading free food-truck lunches for your opinions on city projects at Central Park this Saturday, noon to 3 p.m. Thirty-five booths, five food trucks, vegetarian and Halal options, and a dedicated Kidz Zone so kids have somewhere to be while you actually talk to a councillor. It costs nothing and you leave fed.

HorsePower 4 Hospital returns Sunday at Paletta Lakefront Park, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., raising funds for Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation. The car lineup has included a Ford GT40 Le Mans tribute and other rare machines you won't see at a standard car show. The lakefront setting makes it easy to walk around even with younger kids in tow.
