Every parent knows the drill. It's Thursday night. You want to do something with your kids this weekend. You open your phone and start scrolling. An hour later you have seventeen browser tabs, no plan, and a growing suspicion that nothing is actually happening in your city.

ThisWeekend.ca exists to fix that. We publish a short, curated list of the best family-friendly things to do each weekend. Not everything. The best ones. Filtered for age, weather, and whether it's actually worth the drive.

The list is put together each week by a mix of automated sourcing and human review. Events come from public calendars across the region. A person looks at it before it goes out. If something doesn't belong, it doesn't make the cut.
