The 6th Annual Art Walk runs Sunday 10am–4pm at Lion's Park on Pearl St, free and all ages. Fifty-plus local artists and makers, hands-on activities, an art scavenger hunt, and a community installation. Keep an eye on the Sunday drizzle forecast and go earlier in the day if you can.

The Burlington Concert Band closes out the summer series Sunday evening at the Central Park Bandshell, 7–8:30pm. It's the final concert of the season, which runs June through August. Bring a blanket; the bandshell lawn is flat and kids can spread out.

HMCS Haida marks its 83rd commissioning anniversary Saturday 10am–5pm in Hamilton Harbour. Rifle demonstrations at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm; the 4-inch gun fires at 11:50am and 1:50pm. Kids who are into ships and loud things will not be disappointed.

Indigo Play Days runs Saturday at 11am and 1pm at select Chapters and Indigo stores. This week's session is the Magna-Tiles building adventure tied to Tumford the Terrible. No reservation needed; spaces for participants are limited so arrive a few minutes early.
