Spring Time on the Farm
Drizzly Saturday, decent Sunday. The outdoor flagship this weekend is Bronte Creek's Spring Time on the Farm — go Saturday and accept the light drizzle, because the barns and animal pens keep kids dry enough. Sunday clears to 19°C and cloudy, which is ideal for anything you want to do outside without squinting. Plenty of indoor fallbacks both days if the weather turns on you.
Bronte Creek Provincial Park runs its Spring Time on the Farm event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Victorian-era farm demos, heritage animals, old-fashioned games, and farmhouse tours fill the day. A traditional Victorian tea service runs at select times — worth checking the schedule when you arrive.

Sunday afternoon at Chocolate Tales Studio, this 90-minute pasta class has kids 6 and up mixing and rolling fresh egg dough on hand-crank machines, then eating what they made. Groups of four to six share a station, so it stays manageable. Runs 4–6 p.m. — book ahead, these fill.
The Art Gallery of Hamilton opens its Fischer Gallery for hands-on art-making Sunday from 1–3 p.m., inspired by the permanent collection. Five dollars covers a family of up to six and includes gallery admission. AGH members get in free.
Cineplex Family Favourites puts Minions: The Rise of Gru on screen Saturday morning for $3.99 plus tax. Showtime is 11 a.m. at select theatres. Solid drizzle-day call if the farm feels like too much mud.

The Art Gallery of Burlington runs a free drop-in Open Studio Sunday from 1–4 p.m. This season's programming draws from artist Roda Medhat's sculptural installation — artist-instructors are on hand, but kids can also work independently. No registration, no cost.

Peel Regional Police bring their Fun Day back to Gage Park in Brampton on Saturday from 1–5 p.m. Free BBQ, popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream, plus inflatables, face painting, henna, and a Safety Village Jeep track. Worth the drive if you're in the west end.
Breakfast with Elsa runs Saturday morning at Southcote 53 in Ancaster, 10 a.m. to noon. Kids get a plated breakfast, then Elsa arrives at 11 for meet-and-greet and photos. Kids tickets are $25 plus HST and an 18% gratuity — adults order à la carte.
